The Buildability™ widget is a free, single-script embed that shows any U.S. property's Buildability Score™, zoning code, and FEMA flood zone inside your site. It is designed for ADU builders, real estate brokerages, title and escrow portals, homebuilder sites, and county planning departments that want to surface answers their visitors are already searching for. No API key, no monthly fee, no rate cap on page views — click-through traffic is tracked via UTM parameters with your partner ID for attribution and optional commission.
How to embed (60 seconds)
Paste a container div with a data-address attribute, then load the widget script: <div id="readypermit-widget" data-address="1247 Pine Street, Austin, TX 78704"></div><script src="https://readypermit.ai/widget.js" async></script>. That is it. The widget self-initializes, calls the public /report-preview endpoint, and renders a compact card with the Buildability Score band, zoning, flood zone, and a CTA to the full 142-factor report. Themes: data-theme="light", "dark", or "auto" (matches the visitor's OS). Attribution: data-partner="your-id" appends utm_source=widget&utm_medium=embed&utm_campaign=your-id to every outbound click.
Who embeds it
ADU builders and home-addition contractors use the widget on project portfolio pages so homeowner leads see instant ADU eligibility without leaving the site. Real estate brokerages and listing platforms drop it next to each listing so buyers see zoning plus flood at a glance, deflecting the "call the city" inquiries and shortening offer cycles. Title, escrow, and lending portals surface Buildability™ findings inside the document room so borrowers and underwriters catch zoning conflicts before closing. County planning departments embed it on "what can I build" pages to deflect 50-70% of routine zoning phone calls.
Specs and limits
Size: approximately 4KB JavaScript, one HTTP request, async-loaded (does not block page render). Max-width: 380px — fits in any sidebar or listing card. Responsive and mobile-safe. Works inside iframes, static sites, WordPress, Webflow, Framer, Squarespace, Wix, React, Vue, and vanilla JS. No cookies set by the widget itself. No PII collected. Free tier is unlimited page views; high-volume direct API calls (not via the widget) require a paid plan. White-label builds with custom brand color and logo swap are available for enterprise partners — email team@readypermit.ai.
Attribution and referral commission
Every click from the widget to readypermit.ai is tagged with utm_source=widget, utm_medium=embed, and utm_campaign=your-partner-id. Sign up at readypermit.ai/partners to claim a Partner ID and opt into the referral commission program: 20% for 1-5 referred customers, 25% for 6-15, and 30% for 16+. Commissions are recurring and paid monthly for the lifetime of the subscription. Embedders who do not want commission can still use the widget for free — attribution is optional.
